10 crazy things to do in Las Vegas

March - 17 - 2010 Reporter: Rick

There are way more than 10 crazy things to do in Las Vegas but I thought this would be a good start for you. If you have a few you would like to add, put them in the comments for all of us to see!

If you are looking for a few more wild things to do check out this older post: More Wild things to do in Vegas

Pet a Shark

Mandalay Bay has this crazy large aquarium that has sharks in it. Although the chances are you won’t be able to pet the bamboo shark, this attraction is still worth the trip. There is no other place in the USA that you can see a hammerhead shark in captivity.

Get a Sexy Caddie

There are a lot of golf courses in Las Vegas, but this one will be really memorable! The Rio Secco Golf Club introduces the T-Mate program for those who want to be carted around by a sexy lady when playing golf. Sorry ladies, this one is for the guys.

Dinner in the sky

After dissing the wife, or girlfriend with the Sexy Caddie, you will need to do something really special for dinner. Why not take her out to a dinner she will never forget.

Dinner in the Sky is a two-hour experience that starts with a small reception with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at a posh lounge. After some small talk, up to 22 guests are seated at a rectangular table, strapped down to chairs that look like racing car seats, and taken 180 feet high up in the air by a giant crane.

Neon Museum

What is Las Vegas without Neon signs and what’s Me On Neon without at least one mention of the Las Vegas lights. This outdoor museum, that you will find adjacent to the Fremont experience, is the home of some of Las Vegas’ oldest and most recognizable Neon signs.

The Stratosphere Rides

Ok, not for the faint of heart! First, you have the Stratosphere, a tower that is already 981 feet in the air, then they put some insane rides at the TOP and on the outside. Check out the Big Shot. I heard that the coaster is going bye bye, so you are probably out of luck for that one, but the others are still worth it.

Anyways if you are adventurous and you want to tie the knot, Las Vegas is the place to do it. Here are some ideas to get your gears turning.

Adventuredome

The Adventuredome at Circus Circus is a ride lovers extravaganza. Housed beneath a five-and-a-half-acre glass encasement, this little gem offers rides galore. Great family fun.

Gamble

Seriously, let loose a little. I am not saying bet your house on black ( if you win, remember who told you;)). But Las Vegas is about doing the stuff you can’t do in your day to day life. Whether it be gambling a little or drinking too much, or buying a new pair of shoes. Just let loose a little.
