Once in a lifetime opportunity at Loews Las Vegas
Right now at Loews Las Vegas, if you book a Platinum Package you will be eligible to experience a “zero gravity” or parabolic flight with the famous Buzz Aldrin. The flight is on Nov.3 2007.
According to their press release:
The experience offered by ZERO-G is the only commercial opportunity on earth for individuals to experience true "weightlessness" without going to space and is available to just 20 people. The ZERO-G flight will be guided by Buzz Aldrin, an Apollo 11 Astronaut and the second man on the moon. The 90- minute parabolic flight, the same method NASA has used to train its astronauts for the last 45 years and the same way Tom Hanks floated in Apollo 13, takes place on a G-Force One plane. The controlled ascent and descent of the plane allows flyers to experience Martian gravity (1/3-gravity), Lunar gravity (1/6- gravity), and zero gravity. The ZERO-G Experience provides its flyers with twice the amount of weightless time achieved in a typical sub-orbital flight into space.
With the Platinum Package you will receive a flight suit, pre-flight training and dinner with Mr.Aldrin. Additionally, the package includes a two-night stay over the 3rd of November, a balancing, indulging spa treatment at Loews' Spa Moulay, transportation to and from the hotel to the flight facility, a champagne regravitational party and personal photography and video of the flight and dinner. Cost for this truly unique experience is $9,700 per person. Availability is limited. To book this package, contact ZERO-G at 1-800-937-6480.
