Las Vegas for Christmas

Sin City may not be the first place you think of when it comes to celebrating Christmas. But, here are five reasons why you may want to consider booking your Las Vegas vacation at Christmas.

1.      It is generally one of the cheapest times to book at Las Vegas. Check out these advertised rates for The Bellagio. This hotel which usually books for over $300 a night can be had for as little as $229 at hotelscombined.com to stay from December 23-27th. And Travelocity is showing some amazing deals at other Las Vegas hotels for this date range, including The MGM Grand for $103 per night and The Excalibur from $54 a night. They also offer coupons that you can use to further reduce your costs.

2.      Less people. As much as I love Las Vegas I am not crazy about the traffic. If you were planning on seeing a show on a previous trip to Sin City but haven’t made it for whatever reason. Book at Christmas and you are sure to get more availability when it comes to tickets.

3.      No Snow! Ok I know some people think that is sacrilege to not have snow at Christmas, but I live in Canada. No freezing my butt off and no shovelling sounds pretty good to me.

4.      Nobody celebrates like Las Vegas. If New Years is the best holiday to celebrate in Las Vegas, Christmas is still right up there along with the 4th of July. As with everything in Las Vegas we are talking BIG celebrations. Trust me it is something you have to see.

5.      The food. Mom may make that special turkey stuffing you like, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the food options available. Las Vegas has some of the best restaurants in the world and it is their Christmas as well. They go out of their way to make this a special dinner, and when they do that you are going to be absolutely blown away. About the only problem you may have is deciding on where to celebrate your Christmas dinner. And remember no dishes.
