On your next trip to Las Vegas you may want to consider renting a rental property.

Vacation homes and condos can be a nice alternative to a hotel, especially if you can rent a condo on the Strip. While I do enjoy being pampered and eating out the whole time I am in Las Vegas, some people would prefer to have a few meals in the luxury of their own kitchen.

Da Vinci Experience in Las Vegas

The Da Vinci Experience is a collection of replicas of the artist’s inventions and paintings. It is located in Henderson at 200 S Water St, about a 15 minute drive from the strip.

Some of the items that are on display include prototypes for a bicycle, car and even a helicopter. All the replicas were made from Da Vinci’s notes and were re-created using techniques and materials that were available in Da Vinci’s era. They are on loan from the Museum of the a History of Science of Florence, Italy.

The Da Vinci Experience is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays through March 2.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for seniors 65 and older and students 17 and younger. Children age 6 and younger are admitted free.
