Should you buy tickets before you fly?

Should you buy your Show tickets before you go to Las Vegas? How do you know if the show will be sold out?

I am always amazed when I hear these questions. It's not that I don't understand, Las Vegas has become so large and has so many options when it comes to entertainment that it is hard to decide. Most people end up thinking that they can just go with the flow when they arrive, trust me when I say this can be a huge mistake.

Las Vegas is busy. I mean always busy, for them a slow time of the year would be hotel occupancy rates in the mid 80 percentile. In other words their hotels are always at least 80% full. This can pose a problem if you have not planned out your holiday appropriately. Waiting to make last second dinner reservations or trying to pick up tickets to a popular show can quickly become impossible.

The best way to deal with this is to pre-book your events. With sites like PurchaseTix.com and TicketsGuranteed.com at your disposal it is quite easy to purchase tickets well before your trip. If you are going to one of the more popular show, like the shows on my top 5, it is a necessity. You will more than likely arrive to find out that the show you had been hoping to see has been sold out for the next few weeks.

I am not telling you that you have to pre-plan your entire vacation (this would make me absolutely nuts) but if you want to have one special night whether it be at a specific restaurant or a certain show, you had better plan ahead.
