Wake up! Quit acting like a damn sheep!

A sheep will always follow the leader. They will always walk the same path day in or day out no matter if there is a better path feet away.So many people stay within their comfort circle… everyday ..ALL day. I see it when people commute to work or go to the same restaurant for lunch. People even do the same thing every year for a vacation. You see it so often in Las Vegas because people are rewarded by casinos to always stay at their hotel.

It is not like I don’t understand; I have been guilty of it myself. But, it is a new year and time for a change. You never know when trying something new will affect the way you do something.

A few years back on a trip to Las Vegas my wife made me got to the Cirque Du Solieil show Mystere. Now I have to admit I am really not much of a show guy (they make me all squirmy and uncomfortable) and I usually like to spend my nights in Las Vegas at a nice bar or restaurant followed by a few hours of debauchery at the craps table.

To make a very long story short, I absolutely was floored by the show (it currently ranks in my top 5) not only did I enjoy myself I have planned and seen a show on every trip since. Yes, I had heard other people tell me the Las Vegas shows were great, I just didn’t think they were for me. The truth is, I didn’t know because I had never gone to one before.

Here are some ideas for you to try on your next trip to Vegas.

Stay at a new hotel. One you have never even been to actually. Try it you may find something you really enjoy.

If you don’t gamble try it, and if you do gamble try not to.

Do some site seeing outside of the Strip. Go to the Grand Canyon or book a daytrip somewhere. You may be surprised at what else Nevada has to offer.

Go see a Las Vegas show. I did.

You can take this idea and run with it. Change your daily habits at home. Try something new for dinner, start a new job or career, or simply get a haircut whatever it is try something new you may be pleasantly surprised.
