Pardon me, but how much for that car?

Could you imagine what it would feel like to be driving a 1927 Bentley roadster? The wind in your hair the smell of old leather in your nose. Or how about a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud? A Lamborghini? Cars like these are more like a piece of art than an automobile.

So what does this have to do with Las Vegas? No, this post is not about the cars you can see driving around Sin City, and yes you probably can see anyone of these cars on the streets of Las Vegas. I am talking about a more personal experience. One where you can get up close and personal with some or the most treasured automobiles on the planet.

Hidden in one of the older and smaller Casinos on the strip is perhaps the greatest auto collection in the world. The Auto Collection at The Imperial Palace is touted as the World’s Largest Classic Car Showroom. So does it live up to it’s billing?

Well, it has a 125,000 sq ft showroom which routinely shows 250 world class cars. But,and this is the really great part, most if not all of these cars are for sale. Their “grand Salon” reads like a who’s who of car manufacturers, with automobiles from Packard, Rolls-Royce, Duesenberg, Hispano-Suiza to name just a few. But, is it the best car show you will ever see. Probably not. Is it worth the $6.95 admission and the few hours of your time? Absolutely.
