Las Vegas Coupons

Las Vegas is about debauchery, wealth, excess and savings. Savings? Yes, that’s right savings. With the average price of a burger hovering in the $15 mark, it is quickly becoming essential to have a good spending plan in place before heading off to Sin City.

Coupons and coupon books are becoming increasingly popular. But, the market has become so saturated with them that it is very hard to know if you are going to get any value at all out of the coupons.

First off here is a disclaimer. I will not discuss any of the FREE Las Vegas coupons available, simply because they are free. How could you possibly go wrong with using a coupon or discount that costs you absolutely nothing, you can’t. Enough said.

Las Vegas Power Pass starting at $75

If you are a new traveler to Las Vegas this is a must have. You can use the pass as a virtual tour director and do it for cheap. The unique thing about the Power Pass is that you can buy it in different time increments.  Passes are available in 1,2,3 and 5 day allotments. The only real downside to this pass is if you don’t like to have a structured holiday, because of the time limitations you are pretty much forced to do a LOT in a set amount of time.

Definitely, worth checking out, make sure you are planning on doing enough of these trips to make it a worthwhile investment.

The 2008 American Casino Guide $13.95

This is a perfect example of a guide that is not worth even the relatively cheap price they are asking. This guide likes to advertise itself as a $1000 in savings , while this MAY be true the fact is nearly ALL of the discounts they provide can be found for free in Las Vegas.

Don’t bother, not worth your time.

The Entertainment Book

This one is an easy one; Entertainment Books have been around long enough that most everyone should know who they are. They usually start out at $25 per book if you buy the in the fall but they are currently selling for a $15 value plus shipping is free. You should be able to save the money invested with merely one day of meals. The only downside to this book is it is definitely geared towards locals.

This is just a taste of what you can expect to find. My advice is use caution before you buy ANY discount book for Las Vegas. The wise traveller would use the free coupons for most of their discounts and buy a book for those trips that involve lots of entertainment, dining or excursions.
