Another Las Vegas Weekend

So, after having one of those busy winters where I meant to get out of town and never did, I am finally going back to Las Vegas this weekend.

March Madness is a magical time in Sin City, outside of Super Bowl probably me favourite. The weather is getting warmer and people’s spirits are on the rise. Plus, there is a whole month of amazing basketball to bet on.

I didn’t do too good on hotel rates this time around but, still managed to get a reasonable rate at New York New York. It is so tough to get REALLY good deals this time of year because so many people want to go. I tried using hotelscombined and hotels.com but, I really didn’t see anything to get excited about until New York New York sent me an email with a promotional rate for their players.

This is a perfect example of why you want to sign up for your players club when you go to Las Vegas. Not only will you accumulate some great comps while you are in town, you will always be mailed or e-mailed the latest promos.

While I am in town I am definitely going to hit a show, not sure which one to be honest so as opposed to visiting purchasetix.com I think I am going to try out a new service in town called Tix 4 Tonight. I wrote a post about them when they first came out but I still haven’t had a chance to try them out. I will let you know what I think when I get back.

I am not staying for a long time on this trip, but I am sure there will be lots of new and interesting things to report when I get back.  I definitely want to check out some new restaurants, so I hope to have some good food tips for you next week.
