Have you used Tickco.com?

I recently returned from Las Vegas and I have to admit I committed one of my cardinal sins; I bought my tickets at the box office and paid at least 20% too much. Granted this was a last minute trip, but it is always recommended to buy tickets before you go. Not only will you save some money but you will guarantee yourself a spot.

I usually recommend sites like or StubHub.com today we will look at a new service. Actually new may not be the right term for Tickco.com as they have been around for over a decade but nonetheless they are new to MeOnNeon.

Looking over their inventory I have to admit that I am quite impressed. They do offer a complete line of Las Vegas shows but their specialty is broadway show tickets. Add to this a complete sporting event line-up and you should be able to find just about any show your heart desires.

Easily check in to your Las Vegas hotel room

One of the things that bothers me the most when traveling to Las Vegas, is after sitting in line to get on an airplane, ride the airplane for a few hours and lastly wait to retrieve my luggage at the airport I am stuck waiting in line at the hotel just to check in.

I have finally come across a solution for the last stage of my travel woes. Certain Las Vegas hotels are now offering an option to check into your room, right at the airport.

By utilizing Caesars' hotel check-in facility at McCarran International Airport you can check into your room and receive your room key, all before leaving the airport. Any of the Harrah’s hotel groups should be available at this facility. I would recommend a quick visit to your hotel’s website or even a quick phone call just to confirm

The Caesars' hotel check-in facility is located at the McCarran International Airport; Terminal 1 (in front of Baggage Carousel #1) and operates daily from 10am to 10pm.

Another option but, more for checking out is to use the Bags to Go service. They offer a service for shipping your bags to the airport from your hotel. I wrote a quick post about them here.

Las Vegas Spas

It is one of those rainy days here at home, where all I feel like doing is having a little down time with a good book. So it occurs to me that I have never really had any down time in Las Vegas. Sure I have spent an hour or two at the hotel’s pool, but in most cases that hardly counts as down time. So where do you go in Las Vegas for some rest and relaxation? More on Las Vegas Spas

Bags To Go

Here is an interesting service that a lot of you may not be aware of. This company is called bags to go and they offer a service for shipping your bags to the airport from your hotel.

Serving as an agent for participating airlines, Bags To Go will operate off-airport check-in locations to process customers away from the airport environment. Bags To Go convenient services allow for customers to check-in their baggage and receive their boarding pass. The baggage is securely transported to an access controlled facility at the airport to be screened by TSA personnel. Once screened, the bags are delivered to the airline to be loaded on the customer's flight. You claim you luggage at your destination. Rather than rushing to the airport to check your luggage, customers will benefit from additional time to enjoy local attractions.

This is an excellent service that will really save you some time on your vacation. The cost is $20 and you will need to provide some identification to get your bags checked-in.

The service is currently available at the following Las Vegas locations: The Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas Convention Center, Luxor Hotel and Casino and Las Vegas McCarran Rent-A-Car Center.

The Bags To Go website has more information.
