At the south end of “The Strip” Las Vegas’ newest shopping center has finally opened.
The Town Square began as a $750 million construction project nearly two years ago, opened on Wednesday Nov.14th. Well known stores H&M, Bath and Body Works, Fossil and Skechers will be joined by restaurants and children's play areas. Eventually, the Town Square will be home to 150 retailers and a host of restaurants.
But, don’t call it a mall, Towne Square is being touted as an open air shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Developers say it was created as the kind of place where entire families could spend the day together.
