New York-New York and other Vegas stuff.
So, how did I like Las Vegas this time? What about my stay at the New York- New York Hotel?

I promised I would get back to you on this a few days ago, and I am finally getting my lazy butt around to it. I did post a review on New York-New York here. To summarize, I liked it. I would definitely stay there again and I recommend that you do to.
As far, as the trip, it was awesome. I wasn’t at work and I was in Las Vegas how could that possibly be bad. A couple of things to pass along, I highly recommend getting a players card at your hotel. And then only play at that hotel or it’s affiliates. I managed to get a few meals and all of my hotels rooms comped this time, and I definitely didn’t do any hardcore gambling.
Also, I went to Spamalot while I was there (great show by the way) but, because this was a last minute trip I bought my tickets at The Wynn in Las Vegas. I think I spent around $135 per ticket but…… I see that has them on for $120 per ticket. There was only 2 of us so this wasn’t the end of the world but if there are more you could save enough for breakfast.
On that note, I am constantly amazed at how expensive meals are starting to get in Las Vegas. It is practically impossible to find even a hamburger for under $15. I plan on doing some research and see if I can find a discount package that is worth it for people staying on the Strip. Yes, you could go off the strip to eat but… how does it make any sense to spend $10 on a cab to save $5 on a burger. There has to be a better solution.
Anyways I will post any news when I come across it if you have anything to share please, add it to the comments.Talk to you soon.

Ultimate place for cheap food: Terrible’s. Yes, that’s a name of a casino and 24hour diner off the strip. $2.99 steak and eggs all day every day, best deal anywhere in Vegas hands down. Only bad part about the place is it has a very small selection of table games, but COME ON, $2.99 steak and eggs!
Check it out and let me know how you like it.
